Lisa has worked in the helping profession, including Child Protective Services and mental health for over twenty years, utilizing her bachelor’s degree in child and youth care and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. She works with individuals, couples and families addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, conflict, and PTSD. She specializes in family conflict, parenting, and high-conflict separation and divorce, working with you to minimize conflict during the difficulties of a family breakdown.

Couples Counselling

Couples therapy supports couples experiencing challenges or looking for growth. It can be beneficial at any stage of your relationship. You can expect to share your concerns, discuss your personal and relationship history and the struggles in your relationship. Parent/Co-Parent Counselling

Parenting is challenging, whether you are in a two parent home or in a co-parent situation. We are here to support you, no matter what your life circumstances are. We specialize in high conflict co-parenting situations.

Parenting is a journey, one which has many bumps along the way. It can be satisfying and fulfilling but it can also be difficult and frustrating. We can support you as you go through this journey. New parents, overwhelmed parents, and parents struggling to manage their children’s behaviours can benefit from the support of a counsellor.

If you are separated or divorced, we can assist you in developing, managing, and repairing the relationship with your co parent and your children. This can be difficult to navigate, especially if your family is involved with family court. Lisa has extensive experience and training in the areas of family conflict, parenting and high conflict separation and divorce. There are many issues, concerns, and logistics to work out when a separation or divorce has occurred. We will work together to minimize conflict for your family as you work through this process.
