Restore harmony at home.
Family therapy helps families improve communication, resolve conflicts, and navigate transitions together. Our therapists work with families of all shapes and sizes, including blended families and multigenerational homes.
Family therapy can help with:
- Parenting conflicts
- Sibling rivalry
- Communication breakdown
- Major life changes (divorce, moving, loss)
- Generational or cultural tension
We create a supportive space for each voice to be heard. Issues affecting one family member can have a significant impact on the entire family unit. As a group, we will discuss the needs and experience of individual family members as they relate to the family system.
A family counselling session involves meeting as a group with members of your family to address issues that affect your family’s functioning. It can help family members build stronger relationships, improve communication, and manage conflicts. By improving the way family members interact and relate to one another, family therapy fosters change in close relationships.
Goals of family therapy are to:
- Establish and maintain boundaries
- Create a harmonious home environment
- Address and resolve conflict
- Improve communication
- Understand the needs and experiences of individual family members as
- they relate to the family system
- Open communication
- Create a safe space
- Family Law matters
- Section 211 Assessments
We provide additional support and resources for Family Law matters and Section 211 Assessments.
